1. Account & Eligibility

  • Registration: To place an order, you may be required to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.

2. Pricing and Payments

  • Currency: All prices are usually listed in Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR).
  • Taxes: Prices may be inclusive or exclusive of VAT, depending on the item.
  • Payment Methods: They typically accept Credit/Debit cards, bank transfers, and sometimes Cash on Delivery (COD). The contract is usually considered “formed” only once payment is verified.

3. Delivery & Shipping

  • Timeline: Standard delivery across Sri Lanka usually takes 3–5 business days.
  • Third-Party Couriers: The store is generally not liable for delays caused by third-party courier services (e.g., Domex, Pronto, or Koombiyo).
  • Delivery Fees: Fees are calculated based on weight and your location. These are non-refundable once the item has been dispatched.

4. Returns and Refunds

  • Faulty Items: Most terms state that if a product arrives damaged or is the wrong item, you must report it within 24–48 hours to be eligible for a replacement or refund.
  • Change of Mind: Unlike global platforms, many Sri Lankan stores do not accept returns for “change of mind” unless the item is completely sealed and returned at the buyer’s expense.
  • Non-Returnable Items: Digital downloads, used stationery, or personalized educational materials are usually excluded from returns.

5. Intellectual Property

  • Content Use: The images, descriptions, and logos on the site are the property of teacherstore.lk or their suppliers. You may not use this content for commercial purposes without permission.

6. Limitation of Liability

  • The store’s liability is typically limited to the purchase price of the product. They are generally not responsible for any indirect “educational losses” or inconveniences caused by delayed materials.
